ARES®at Level 1 for impending storm.

Hello,
Due to the chance for significant impact on travel and the potential for power interruptions I am raising the alert status to 1.

This means that it is a good idea to charge the HT batteries, make sure that you have everything programmed and to monitor the local repeaters for more information.

If you are an EC or DEC it is a good time to just touch base with local community officials and let them know that you are prepared if needed.

Stay safe and stay tuned.

Thanks

Mike, W8ZY
