SET 2015 - SEC Bulletin #1

This is a drill.  This is a drill.  This is a drill.

An extremely rare and powerful Category 5 Hurricane (named Freddy) has entered the Gulf of Mexico.

At present it is forecast to arrive in our area during the evening hours of Friday, the 13th of November.

NWS expects significant tornadic activity in the Northeast from this hurricane.

I intend to raise the CT ARES Alert Levels as the storm approaches.

I also expect NWS will activate SKYWARN for this event.

Close coordination between ARES, SKYWARN, and NTS will be needed.  Please prepare accordingly.

This is a drill. This is a drill. This is a drill.
