SET 2015 Net Schedules

In order to be effective and efficient during our Simulated Emergency Test (SET) operations, we will need to share repeater resources, especially the KB1AEV linked-repeater system.

The following net schedule has been reviewed by the CT ARES Leadership and will be used for the upcoming SET:

    1) CT SEC/SM Leadership/Command Net on the Connecticut Statewide talkgroup on the CT-ARES DMR network -- on the Even Hours -- i.e., 0800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600 on Saturday and 0800, 1000, 1200 on Sunday.   The CT-ARES DMR Network will be available for Regional use at other times.   If used for Regional nets, please use the CT-TAC# channel that corresponds to your Region, i.e., Region 1 use CT-TAC1, etc.

    2) Regional Resource and/or Tactical Nets on the KB1AEV system or Regional/Local repeaters -- on the Odd Hours -- i.e., 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500 on Saturday and 0900, 1100 on Sunday.

    3) SKYWARN Nets on the KB1AEV system or Regional/Local repeaters -- on the Even Half Hours -- i.e., 0830, 1030, 1230, 1430 on Saturday and 0830, 1030 on Sunday.

    4) NTS Local Nets on Regional/Local repeaters -- on the Odd Half Hours -- i.e., 0930, 1130, 1330, 1530, 1730 on Saturday and 0930, 1130 on Sunday.

    5) Formal HF Nets (i.e., CPN - Connecticut Phone Net) will be run on 3.965 MHz and/or 7.280 MHz immediately after each of the scheduled CT SEC/SM Command Net closes -- i.e. approximately 0815, 1015, 1215, 1415, 1615 on Saturday and 0815, 1015, 1215 on Sunday.  Intervening informal HF Net operations will be at the discretion of the HF Net NCS.
