SET 2015 - SEC Bulletin #4
This is a drill. This is a drill. This is a
drill.
Hurricane Freddy, now a strong Category 1 storm, is forecast to make landfall in
Connecticut about midnight tonight, Friday, the 13th of November.
NWS continues to expect significant tornadic activity in the Northeast from this
hurricane.
I am hereby raising the CT ARES Activation Status to Level 3 Deploy effective
immediately.
Please maintain good situational awareness by watching/listening to your preferred
weather forecast sources.
Please be prepared to assist our Served Agencies if requested by ensuring your
radio batteries are charged, vehicles and generators are fueled, etc.
The safety of you and your family should be your highest priority! Now
is the time to make preparations to keep your family safe should you be asked to
deploy.
Note: You should NOT deploy unless directed to do so by your ARES District
Emergency Coordinator (DEC) or other appropriate authority.
This is a drill. This is a drill. This is a drill.
