SET 2015 - SEC Bulletin #6

This is a drill.  This is a drill.  This is a drill.

Hurricane Freddy made landfall in Connecticut as a Category 1 storm at about midnight last night, Friday, the 13th of November.  Numerous (possible) tornados are being reported along with widespread power outages from downed trees.   Coastal and stream flooding has also been reported.

For DECS - please collect damage reports from your Region and forward summary to SM and SEC.  Task your ECs with making contact with local officials to ascertain their needs. Determine what Red Cross shelters are being opened.   Conduct Resource Nets to see what ARES resources are available.   Develop a response plan to meet needs of Partner Agencies to the degree possible using available resources.

For SKYWARN - please continue to collect weather data and submit to NWS.   Forward reports of any (possible) tornados to the Regional DEC for your area.

For NTS - please handle message traffic as needed to assist with recovery efforts.

Thanx for your support!!
